Abstract

A workshop exploring the complex relationship between social sciences, humanities, and digital technologies, focusing on the 'making' of social research. The event examined which practices, ideas, and perspectives on technology emerge from interactions between researchers and their fields, and how to 'deborder' distinctions and roles in the research process.

Details

This workshop, organized by the Visual Sociology Laboratory (University of Genoa) and NetHood (Zurich), explored appropriate methodologies in digital social research as a set of situated tactics to overcome social boundaries and positions in the field.
